  Wondering how I go about placing the Banner module into the top of our website. In the case of the blanktheme site we would be wanting to replace the text "Zikula comprehensive theme development framework" On our site we tend to use banner images over layed with our name and would like to continue to do this.

  You can play with the body templates (/templates/body of your theme) and see how to fit it inside the #header slogan. There are three lines that defined the site title, the slogan and the logo. All depends on the position you want to put it, you can use absolute positioning + left top fixed pixels, or choose the way you want.
  
  Put the banner in the body template, then see how your site changes, and if you need help positioning it , don't hesitate to show what you've done and the CSS will be easy
